Is religion relevant to the computer generation?

When the technology became the center of life, religion vanished. The technology is powerful that it can, little by little shatter the so called “religion”. What then religion is? Why the youth of computer generation tend to forget the importance of religion in our life? Is being educated by modern technology and trends change the perception of today’s youth in their beliefs, tradition, and especially the religion of our great ancestors? Is religion relevant to the youth?

The dictionary define religion as a communal system for the coherence of belief focusing on a system of thought, unseen being that is considered to be supernatural of the highest truth. Many of teens forget all of these things; they deny the existence of God. I’ am a teenager too but I believe in God, yes there are times I doubt if there is really God.

Youth focuses on internet, laptop, new discoveries, etc. that’s why they don’t have time to read the word of God and it could probably result to forgetting or doubting that there is Supreme Being. It is ideal that religion should be relevant to the youth of the computer generation because we all know that the youths will be guided and mold in their moral values so that they will be better individual someday, away from impurities in life. Religion is also relevant to the youth in a way that it can save us from eternal damnation that could lead us to hell.

Religion looses its relevance to the youths because of technology and many beliefs and groups that destroys religion like dark cult and atheism. Also, hard lives take youths away from religion and our very own Summon Bonum. Parents should be aware of these things. We should save the youths from being cold to religion because I believe that it is the most important factor to fulfil life perfections.
